'Embered Habitation' 71 x 36 x 18cm Jarrah timber $ 2,600.00 by SAM HOPKINS. We did a Q & A with Sam in anticipation of his 'Selected Works' exhibition 24 Sept – 12 Oct.   Q. Is there a particular medium or style of work you enjoy creating the most? A. I think of all the mediums I use, they all have certain elements I love about them and ones I dislike about them. I enjoy bringing mediums together and using them in ways they wouldn’t traditionally be used. The style of work I tend to enjoy the most are the more organic ones, carving back and building up, that develop as you progress, responding to the material and overall form.
