BRONWYN SEARLE – 'Peel me a Grape' Q. Bronwyn, how long have you been painting and what started your journey? A. "Ever since I can remember, I’ve been drawing or painting in some form. As a child I had an image in my mind of one day standing at an easel and painting with oils on a big canvas. It was suggested to me by my high school art teacher to go to art school and study Graphic Design so I could earn a living doing what came naturally to me. That career choice took me to a number of very satisfying jobs for many years, but there was always that desire to paint for myself and to learn the technique of oil painting. In 2002 I studied oil painting under the guidance of Warren Palmer at the Brisbane College of Art and by 2006 I sold my first painting at an art show. So from that first sale I was on my way." – Bronwyn   New works by Bronwyn are on display and available now from the gallery, please contact the team for any enquires.
