EDGAR SCHILTER is a Sydney based artist. Edgar completed a Fine Arts degree at the College of Fine Arts Sydney in 2008. His subjects of interest are decidedly honest, with recurrent themes of architecture, mechanics, technology and science. His work focuses on the methodical and meditative reproduction of detail in the hopelessly untrendy modern tradition of artisanry. His work turns the lens over the technical and structural and blends it with the patterning and textural elements often found in nature.
