KATHERINE WOOD'S solo exhibition will open at the gallery 10 October with the Opening Night event to be held 5 – 7pm Friday 14 October. Katherine creates places of calm and tranquillity, a world of sweeping skies and vast endless horizons. These meditative scenes are often juxtaposed with turbulent clouds and dramatic storms. "I really enjoy creating things. I was inspired by Brett Whiteley, William Robinson, John Olsen and Arthur Boyd at a young age. I wanted to paint exactly like them.
