“Colour does not need to represent anything other than itself. It is universal yet nothing is more personal. And that’s how I present these paintings. I’m distilling something that struck me, but the interpretations and feelings they provoke in others can be infinite" – KURT HERRMANN   Zorn Zipper 122 x 122cm, 125 x 125cm framed acrylic on canvas on board $ 4,400.00 To view a catalogue of Kurt's works please contact the team or visit our website for more!

Welcome to tjg artist TARA SPICER !!!  Artist Tara Spicer is based on the beautiful coast of Queensland Australia and has been painting and exhibiting for roughly twenty years. Tara has a wonderful gift for immersing the viewer into her world. Her paintings engage us with their strength of character and subtle, yet raw colour palette. Each original work evokes a sense of enduring, self-contained innocence and contentment. Works range in themes from playful childhood wonder to deeper, more convoluted meaning. Tara's works present a subdued colour palette allowing the central figure to hold the power within each piece, giving a strength of presence as well as space for the viewer to place themselves inside the artwork. Her works allow you to truly immerse yourself in the feelings of the moment presented. You can browse and acquire works by Tara at the gallery or via our website or please contact the team to receive Tara's catalogue.

"In my Colour Bomb Series I want the paintings to radiate across the room but to also whisper quietly beside you. I want big sound and silence. Many of my shapes, forms and colors have been extracted from the mountains of Pennsylvania where I live and work, but I also sample bits and pieces of memories and places I’ve never been. There are trunks of trees, winter skies, deer legs, the pink from a summer watermelon and Greek islands I’ve always wanted to see – these are some of the sparks that start a painting but they are not the whole story." – KURT HERRMANN   'April Snapper' 122 x 122cm acrylic on canvas on board $ 4,400.00
