“The ocean has captured my heart and enlightened my soul in such a way that it will never leave me. The images and symbols that appear in my work are heavily influenced by this interpersonal connection. These symbols may present themselves in colours and shapes, a perceived horizon line, a boat or buoy or the subtle pink as the sun sets and reflects off the sand and water.” Joie Villeneuve
