My Time In Sydney
This exhibition is a vibrant and joyful depictions of my time in Sydney.
Whenever I am in Sydney, it is the water, the harbour that attracts me; to see the light sparkling, taking note of the colours on a blue sky day, the colours in the reflection on the water in the evenings; the different types of boats, their shapes, their sizes, the movement on the water; there is so much activities all day and every day, it is just brilliant to sit on the shore or take a ferry trip and just to observe.
For a long time now I have wanted to experience Vivid in Sydney harbour to see the light show and final, this year I was able to go. The event is absolutely fabulous!! My ‘Vivid Sydney festival of lights series’ was created from that one evening from a vantage point of a cruise boat. These five works are literally a visual diary of that evening – we boarded the boat in the Rocks, sailed pass The Opera House and under the Harbour Bridge, checking out Luna Park, back to the dock, from here we finished the evening by walking to Customs House to view the changing display. My intentions were to celebrate each moment.
