“This series started from the panic buying that occurred when Covid-19 first touched our lives.. there was definitely a weird feeling in the air when shopping for supplies ie. toilet paper that everyone should have access to was suddenly not on the shelf and restrictions in place. So that’s when I made the first felted product – the humble toilet roll and it grew from there. I thought it would be a quirky way to get the message out there about panic buying and document how we are navigating a global pandemic. “ – Melissa Spratt
