Oliver Cain

Oliver Cain is an English born New Zealand artist. His work covers a wide range of subject matter which as it develops and evolves is presented through a diverse range of materials. Oliver’s artworks, a mix of subverted linguistic paintings, ceramic sculptures and installations bear a certain physicality and push the boundaries between conceptualism and Post Pop Art. Appropriated everyday objects transform stereotypes and famous art historical references become augmented and twisted.
